Terms & Conditions
Last updated 24 August 2026
These terms cover your use of flshy, the video editor at app.tryflshy.com and this website. They are meant to be readable. The short version: the editor is free, your work is yours, do not use it to break the law, and we cannot promise a free service will never go down.
1. Who you are agreeing with
flshy is operated by overads private limited (a subsidiary of overads Inc.). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you are using flshy for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Your account
You need a free account to use the editor. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since that is how signing in works. Tell us at support@tryflshy.com if you think someone else has got into your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
3. What it costs
flshy is free to use, with no watermark and no credit card. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly and existing free functionality will not be moved behind a paywall without notice.
4. Your content stays yours
You keep every right you already have in the footage you edit and the videos you export. We claim no ownership and no licence over your work.
Because editing happens on your device, we do not hold your media. That also means we cannot recover it for you. Projects live in your browser’s storage, and clearing site data or losing the device loses the work. Export anything you care about.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use flshy to:
- create or distribute material that is unlawful, or that infringes somebody else’s copyright, trademark or privacy;
- produce sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence or harassment;
- impersonate a real person in a way intended to deceive, including synthetic likeness or voice used for fraud;
- attack, overload, reverse engineer or circumvent limits on the service, or resell access to it.
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why first.
6. AI features
Captions, silence detection, reframing and the AI co-editor are automated and will sometimes get things wrong. Check the output before you publish it. You are responsible for what you ship. Where a feature sends data to a third-party model provider, the interface says so before it runs.
7. Open source
Parts of flshy are open source and published under their own licences, which govern your use of that code. These terms cover the hosted service rather than the source.
8. Availability
We do not promise uninterrupted service. flshy is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we plan to retire something significant, we will give reasonable notice.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, overads is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data or lost footage arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Trademarks
overads®, flshy™ and the overads logo are trademarks of overads private limited. These terms give you no right to use them. Third-party names and logos shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to refer to those services.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date above always reflects the current version, and we will give notice of material changes. Continuing to use flshy after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
